Feeling: Spring cleaning

Hi!

I went on vacation last month. Just two weeks in Tokyo, my sixth? Seventh? Time in Japan? I entered the fan club ticket lottery for Love Never Dies as a joke last year and actually won an all OG performance ticket so that gave me an excuse to actually take some proper time off work and travel for the first time in five years lol. LND was of course, stupid as all hell as it always is, but it was a blast to watch and the cast was great. Madoka was absolutely the highlight honestly but Meg is the best character in that show.

Not much else to say about my vacation. It was nice, I always miss Japanese food every time I get back home because the food culture situation is dire in this country and I really just need to become a better cook myself but life is hard. Nakano fabric street and Okedaya in Shinjuku changed my life and I wish I could build a Minecraft nether portal to go over there every day because it's unfair how amazing the fabric selections are there it's so dire here. I went to Fuji-Q for the first time and was shocked by how slow their ride boarding procedures were but it wasn't a very busy day so I got to ride everything I wanted, Fujiyama rules. Met a guy who was 207cm tall and couldn't ride anything other than Fujiyama (I hope? I saw him get in line I hope he fit the seats??) which only opened in the last 2 hours of the day due to heavy winds and I still feel so bad for him.

Been really busy since I got home, things have kind of exploded at work and it's going to be rough for a while. The pay is good and due to various factors I do not want to go through the difficulty of finding a better job right now so I am continuing to suffer the 9 to 6 with 1 hour commutes exhaustion life. Had to put the cat down, which is okay, she was 22 years old. Lately I'm kind of slowly cleaning up and reorganizing my apartment, got a bunch of shelves and drawers I need to clear out, thinking about repainting some tables? I'm sitting on 20 fabrics I want to make clothes out of and I still have 6 unbuilt Gunpla I want to put together after having built 3 since I got home. (Air China allows you two checked suitcases for free when traveling to Japan so I bought a lot of robots. Also I have bought more robots since I got home.) I need to get another display shelf for robots Again...

That's all really. I'm bad at writing blog posts? I try. I haven't really had much drive to draw for a while even before the trip due to being afflicted with various Stressors, but I feel like I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel in that aspect, so hopefully I'll be back in the swing of things soon. I kinda feel like I'm excusing why I don't upload art very often in every blog post? I think I just have to come to terms with the fact that due to life circumstances I produce images very slowly nowadays and having primarily existed on the internet as a picture uploaded for the past like 15 years may have given me some brain problems. I'm just a salaryman and I kinda just feel like playing a bunch of video games.
